Whereas Koala the botswain is profoundly sleeping, captain Diamond narrates to young sailor Firefly his most beautiful childhood memory. Her name was Cinnammon.

Since 2003, Shanti Masud has been a director of both sad and joyful films, in black and white and in color, using Super 8, Super 16, Super Digital, experimental techniques, and fictional storytelling: *Jeunesse* (2016), *Undead Woman*, *While the Unicorn Is Watching Me*, *Métamorphoses* (2014), *Pour la France* (2013), *Don't Touch Me Please* (2010), *But We Have the Music* (2009), *That's Where We Want to Go* (2006), and *L'Appel* (2004). 

 

She also compulsively directs music videos for artists such as O, Aline, Orouni, Mina Tindle, Judah Warsky, Joakim, Mehdi Zannad, and Néoboris. 

 

Shanti has also worked as a script supervisor for directors such as Nicolas Pariser, Philippe Fernandez, Arthur Harari, Ho Lam, and Fabrice Destagnol, and later as an actress for Arthur Harari, Virgil Vernier, Pascale Bodet, Nicolas Pariser, Lucie Borleteau, Srinath Christopher Samarasinghe, William Laboury, and herself.
